Cairo metro Line 4
- All transport studies carried out for the Greater Cairo Region recommended the implementation of the line no.4 of the Greater Cairo Tunnels, where the fourth line is the best means to link the city of 6th of October with the center of the capital and its other parties through the metro system and provides a passenger service and connect it to areas with high densities in EL Haram, Faisal, El Umranya and Giza, and this line will be implemented in two phases:
- The first phase: the interchange station in the west of the ring road on the borders of the city of 6th of October to EL-Fustat station and the length is about 19 km and a total of 17 stations.
- The second phase: from El Fustat station through the Islamic Cairo zone to the city of Nasr and New Cairo.
